Privacy Policy

Thank you for using TradingWorks+. This is an unofficial browser extension, with no affiliation to the TWO company. This policy explains what data the extension handles and how.
What the extension reads
TradingWorks+ reads pages from app.tradingworks.net using the browser session you already have open — the same way your browser would if you visited the site yourself. From those pages it reads your clock-in status, daily timeline, time bank, attendance history and, if you're a manager, your team's approval queue. This happens entirely on your own device; the extension has no server of its own, and your TradingWorks login credentials never pass through the extension.
What stays on your device
Your preferences (theme, language, popup layout, notification settings) are stored locally in the browser via chrome.storage.local. This data is never uploaded anywhere and never leaves your machine.
What you can choose to send elsewhere
Notifications are opt-in and off by default. If you turn on a notification channel in Settings, a short message about your clock-in status is sent directly from your browser to the destination you configured:
- Discord: to the Discord webhook URL you provide.
- Generic webhook: to the URL you provide.
These messages go straight from your browser to that destination — never through a server operated by us. The extension only requests permission for the specific origin you typed, at the moment you turn the channel on.
What we don't do
We don't run analytics or tracking, don't show ads, and don't sell, share, or otherwise disclose your data to third parties. The only external destinations TradingWorks+ talks to are app.tradingworks.net (to read your own data) and, only if you set them up, the notification destinations above.
Security
All data handling happens client-side, in your browser. We have no servers that store or process your information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the extension changes. Check this page periodically for updates.
